I know this mod is a PITA but want to keep everything OEM and have purchased all the components except the wiring harnesses.

I know I need a new audio sub-harness, but Honda is telling me I need new floor and instrument panel harnesses as well. But when I look at the part descriptions for both the navi and non-navi models the floor harnesses description says "INCLUDE W. TUBE & GPS CORD" for each.

I do not want to add the reverse camera, only navi.

Can anyone tell me if I actually need a new instrument panel and floor harness?

I looked but don't see any posts on this. If there is one I'd be greatful if someone pointed me in the right direction. There's no turning back... :o

As the owner of an '08 non Navi/non RES Odyssey, I'd love to know how this project comes out!

$800 for Nav/DVD unit, Radio, Display Unit and CD changer on eBay.
$950 for the wiring harnesses and GPS antenna from Honda.
$400 - $600 for installation.

I sent everything back!

It's not worth $2150. We'll just keep using the iPhone and TeleNav!:eek:
