Hi! I am a member of the EOC and was referred here from that sight- just at the appropriate time . . .

My husband and I have been Honda fans since we've been driving; over the past 20 years we've collectively owned 10 Hondas- 5 while we were dating and 5 since we've been married. (We must have a little addiction problem because there have been many more vehicles in that time period, but that can be discussed on another post )

We just sold my husband's 1989 Accord LX-i and were looking for a replacement when my in-laws decided they no longer needed their 1996 Ody and decided to gift it to us.

Thought we made a decision that we were out of the mini-van stage, even though we have 2 toddlers and it is practical, but the Ody is FREE and too boot it's a Honda! Do I have great in-laws or what? :D

Since it is a 1st Generation, it is pretty basic, so in the Element tradition it is on to mods to make it our own. Maybe when we are done we'll have the coolest mini-van on the soccer circuits :p Hope we can get some great ideas here!

Welcome!!!! Glade your inlaws like you;). That 1st gen Ody is pretty cool and takes well to moding. See you here and on the EOC, and don't forget to post some pics of your FREE :DOdy. Are you guys going to the BIG MEET in June? Drew:)

Welcome to the club. I like the 95-98 Oddy for the simple fact that i still think of them as a tall wagon and not a mini van.

If i can find the right Oddy for my wife i won't have to part with my Element.

Glad to see some familiar names from the EOC.

I'm Pope*Mobile there; when we got our 1st E friends said it looked like the Pope mobile and it just stuck.

We unfortunately won't be able to make it to the Big Meet in Ohio due to my husband's job. He works for the PA House of Reps and that's budget time and they always wait 'til the last minute for everything. So . . . my husband lives at the Capitol until the politicians get their act together .

I'm a stay at home mom to 2 toddlers, so travelling alone with them is not an option- although they'd love seeing that many Es together. My 4 year old always wants to see "all the Elements" every time I get on the computer and both are learning all the colors and getting pretty good at it! ;)

Hey welcome the the club. It's still pretty quiet in here but it's a good place and hopefully as word gets around, the busier it will get.
