I have an '05 Odyssey w/ 57,000 miles & it has this annoying loud buzzing sound that comes from the middle of the dashboard. It doesn't always do this...only sometimes when I'm on the highway & when I go over bumps on the road. When it starts it keeps buzzing for awhile. Usually always does it when taking long trips. Have taken it to two seperate dealerships twice & they can't make it do it. (I have driven the mechanics around myself & it wouldn't make the noise) We actually dropped my van off @ the dealership today & a mechanic is driving it home to see if he can hear it. Has anyone else had this problem?

I ended up getting an 06 Odyssey because my 99 got totaled. My 99 was much more quieter than my 06. You can hear so much wind noise its almost like you have you windows or doors open when you pass other vehicles. Cheaply quality but very expensive vehicles. I'm going to try all kinds of fixes because I hear all kinds of noises coming from my dash wind shield and my driver door makes noise so bad that I have to put my hand against the window to stop the noise . My vehicle has never been in a wreck either.

You can buy dynomat in sheets or in cans and sparay in the wheel wells and in the doors. There were also a few tsbs for rattles and noises. Hang in there, you will find them. Also what kind of tires do you have on it? Some tires are louder especially as they wear.

I had a slight windnoise around the windshield area of my '05 Ody. Took it to the dealer and they said there was an issue with the molding pieces around the outside of the windshield. When it warps, it causes that sound. There was a TSB on that issue so they repaired it for free. I never did ask if the replacement parts were an upgraded part or if I'd see the same issue again when the parts warped again. However, that repair was done over two years and 40K miles ago and I haven't had a problem since.

You should see if your '06 is covered by that TSB. Sounds like the same issue as mine.
