I'm actually an Element Owners (avid poster on EOC) but recently my brother-in-law called me up asking me if I could find some information on how to repair the timing belt for his 2003 Odyssey. Seeing as I had luck from posters over at EOC, I figured I would try my luck here.

Anyone know or have any diagrams of how this can be done? Or at least know where I can find information on how to do this? His local dealer planned on charging him about $700...

I personally would reccommend a timing belt project be performed by a professional as it's a very huge and can be complicated task also it is strongly reccommended to replace the auto tensioner and water pump the said time, the parts are not that expensive but it is the labour that cost the most. If you still would like to do this project yourself, I'm sure if you ask Honda for the step by step print out they'll give it to you. Goodluck.
