Hi,
I have a 2002 3.5L LX Odyssey and for the most part has been a great car. just out of warranty the car transmission started kicking and after a high pressure flush the problem was gone (The Braman Dealer here in Miami told us we needed a new transmission). The check engine light with the trouble code of P 1740 "transmission 4th cluch selenoid malfuction" never got resolved, but the car has been performing quite well despite the check engine ligt on. Now the car has 165K miles and is starting to kick again around second gear and downshifting harsh like a pressure tranducer is faulty. I estimate that are not the clutches otherwise the transmition would not move.
Does anyone out there has some experience with this. I am afraid of stepping in to the dealer as they do not seem honest based on my experience. I will like to have a good idea befor going somewere so I do not get taken for a ride.
