We tow a small pop-up camper with our 2001 Odyssey. We put the canoe on top, and inside is filled with gear. We need a place to carry bikes. The obvious place to carry them is on the front of the van.

I have tried to find a front hitch reciever so I can use a hitch mounted rack, but I have not found a reciever that claims to fit an Odyssey.

Anybody carry their bikes on the front?

Does the canoe go on the roof of the van or the trailer? I have seen racks made to go on the pop up for carrying bikes.

The canoe is on top of the van. We are reluctant to put the bikes on the camper because a) Camper roofs can be problematic with leaks and more important b) we do not want to have to take the bikes off every time we put up the camper. One key to pop-up camping is to keep it quick and easy to put up the camper.
