Hello,
First of all, let me just say that I love this van. I gave up a Toyota Tacoma X-Runner after my wife and I adopted two boys.
I have just reached 5K miles and 5 months. I decided to change the oil myself and was surprised to find that I was only able to drain 3 quarts of old oil. Three questions come to mind:
1.) I know I should have checked it, but out of the showroom, how could the oil be 1.5 quarts short?
2.) Why didn't the computer detect the low oil level?
3.) Should I worry about possible damage due to this?
A couple of other things that bug me about my beloved ODY:
a. The passenger airbag cover has a 4-inch separation right above the glove compartment - it looks like a smiley face.
b. The door control panels on both front doors don't fit perfectly - rear inside corner is not flush.
That's all. Again, aside from these issues, I love the van!
