My wife and I are new owners of a white/tan '09 EX-L with navi/RES! but i noticed there is no 2009 section here :(
i actually did not look at the Sienna. i did a bunch of review and internet reading to compare the two and liked the styling and interior features of the Odyssey better in the end.
Initial impressions on the first drive home from the dealership: tire noise and road noise is LOUD in the cabin  and we had to crank up the radio. the strange button layout on the center dash (audio/climate) is not really ergonomically user-friendly and will take getting used to. also the voice of the navigation system is a tad too "intrusive" when compared to my wife's Lexus RX330, which does not have to blurt out directions every 5 seconds and instead uses a combination of muffled beeps and on-screen warnings which makes the ride less noisy and more comfortable.
i think that's all the initial concerns we have right now.
after browsing some other sites here is what i found:
*recalls about brake lines touching brake calipers on certain vin numbers; a visible gap between the front passenger airbag and dashboard.
Buyers' Remorse?: The audio quality/performance from this 6-speaker, 120 watt system, in plain english, sucks. I wonder now if i should have pocketed the several thousand dollars and instead gotten a lower trim and then turned to the aftermarket for my family's audio and entertainment needs . Anyone have advice/comment on this?
thanx!
