Just wanted to throw this question out there... We have an '06 Touring on lease and set to expire in Aug. Have not decided to keep or go newer - probably keep! But, IF we should decide to turn it in... we had an aftermarket hitch installed (for obvious $$ reasons). Will Honda have an issue with that hitch? It really had only one season of towing a light pop up camper and since then, we have used my Ridgeline. but I can just hear Honda saying - nope sorry, big $$ for failing to install additional coolers and that means big deductions! Obviously, I can "uninstall" the hitch and just leave the wiring tucked away, buT I was curious if anyone has had this issue before...Thanks!:confused:

I guess you could take the hitch off and try to cut the wires as far forward as possible. I don't think they will have a problem, they will use it as a selling feature to the new owner.
