It is located beneath the vehicle on the right side of the oil drain plug when you are standing facing the hood, the filter is NOT accessable unles you are taking the tranny apart then you can replace the filter, the capacity is 2.9 litres, do not over fill.
Goodluck.

it's the same hole the dipstick goes in (right by the battery).

you'll need a very narrow tipped (and long) funnel to get it in.

best of luck

Sorry, it's not the dip stick hole , behind the dip stick hole where they have the brake lines there is a bolt that has the letter " T " on it, you need to remove that bolt first so the fluid can drain out properly then refill. DO NOT OVERFILL.

He's not asking for the filter, he's asking for the "filler"...

I've flushed mine about three times now...and the drain hole (on the bottom of the trans) drains it out, and the transmission dipstick (it's yellow, and small, and right next to the battery, top side) is where the transmission fluid goes in. I'd be happy to can take a picture, if that helps.

It's about 3.3 quarts

That would be correct for 1999 - 2001s.

:)

2002s and up have the oil jet kit which is installed in that hole so 2002 - 2004 guys have to use the filler tube hole. That said, there's nothing wrong with the 1999 - 2001 guys using the dipstick hole to fill the tranny fluid. Many cars don't have the Tranny fill bolt.

Did he ban you at odyclub?

he did, and then he very quickly deleted the thread he banned me for, so the board owner (and the board) couldn't see it.

About 60% of his posts are telling people to use the search function...very sad and unwelcoming for newbies.
