Purchased a 2009 Odyssey EX-L last month. Traded in a 2001 Town and Country which was starting to have problems. I have had two other Chrysler Vans and loved the ride, but with all of Chrysler's problems, I convinced the wife that Honda was a much better choice. So far she loves it.

I tried in vain to register under my normal forum name of White Rabbit, but some how could not get properly registered so I re-registered under Odyssey09 in order to get started. Not planning any MODs. I do that on my PT Cruiser.

Welcome to the club and congrats on your new ride. The ody looks pretty good in white. Oh and yes the ody is far better than those Chrysler's. My buddy has an 01 dodge grand caravan with only 83,000 miles and has or had so many problems. The newest problem is now the rack is leaking. You and your wife made a great decision. Also the ody holds it valve way better than the Chrysler's.

If the wife isn't happy, NOBODY'S Happy!
Actually this is her van, she will not drive anything except a van, even though our children are all grown, married and have their own children. We haul the grandkids sometimes.
So far she loves the look, ride, and the fact that it is NEW! I get to keep it clean, polished and serviced.

Wow thats surprising. Most woman as soon as they don't need a van any more they get rid of them, but not your wife. They are the most usable vechile. And you bought an odyssey which is the king of all vans. You are also right about that if the wife ain't happy, no body is.
