Perhaps, this is a dumb question but I just couldn't figure it out.

I have been trying to remove/open the top black plastic engine cover of my 2005 honda odyssey but all in vain. I saw only 2 10mm plastic bolts on the front side of the cover. Are there any other bolts around the engine cover. How do I remove the engine plastic cover?

I'm very sure they have 2 more bolts of the same size at the rear of the plastic cover that you have to remove also, it's very easy to remove, may I ask what's the reason you would like to take off the cover?

I am trying to change spark plugs. I am a self taught mechanic but this is my first honda odyssey. I still don't find any extra bolts around. May be they are located right under which make no sense to me. If I can't get help here, I may ask from those auto repair workers.

They do have 2 additional bolts at the rear of the cover. When changing spark plugs make sure you tighten them firmly.
