My driver side sliding door will not close all the way. I have done everything I can, I have done searches and searches, and have done all the tech tips. Well I have a weird situation. I had a dead battery about 6 months ago and the door would not close too. I replaced my battery and the door started to work properly. It closed perfect everytime, I was happy, the other week I was working on the van and I had disconnected the battery. Finished what I was doing and put the battery back on, now the door will not close all the way!?!?! I tried resetting it with the number 13 fuse, disconect the battery again, clean and lube the tracks, and nothing works. Is there a relay somewhere? or am I going to have to start replacing parts? I'm having a similar problem with my 01.I going to buy a Haynes manual and dissect it from there. A mechanic friend of mine said I should also check to see if I have power going to the motor.If you know of any shops in your area that specialize in automotive wiring/electronics,give them a call and they might give you some free advice over the phone.Hope this helps.

I finally found the problem after going through a lot of trouble. I have to replace the Power Sliding Door Control Unit, its a nice $200+. Its the silver thing behind the panel in the rear, right beside the motor. I have the link I can PM you if you want it. I cant post here for some reason. Good Luck!
