Hi, It's very important to me to be able to listen to books on tape during trips, but my almost brand new 2009 Odyssey CD player overheats badly, causing the CDs to skip and then stop. The dealership said yes it overheats but that is normal for it, and they can't do anything. Are others having a similar problem with this? I'll be grateful for any suggestions?

Try another dealer. There is a problem especially when you can't play your Cd's.

Sounds like a defect. Try another dealer while under warranty.
