I a planning on replacing the passenger side rear view mirror on my 2006 Odyssey. Its the foldback, heated, powered type. I plan on having an after market unit color matched and then replacing it myself.

Is this a difficult thing to do? Is there anything "odd" that I should know before I attempt it or is this just something a body shop or dealer should just take care of.

Also is there somewhere out there that is written that I can reference and see how this and oher things are done?

If it is similar to my 2001, you just pop off the inside cover, unplug a connector, remove a few bolts and the install is the reverse.

Yes, the inside trim piece that covers the bolts just pops off. Use a blade screwdriver with a rag wrapped around it.
