We have an 06 Ody EX-L with power side doors. We have 25,000 miles so far. Has anyone noticed any noise in the doors as they are closing? It sounds like a moan just as the door is almost closed. The doors open and close fine, just making a noise. I will have it looked at during the next service.

Our '07 makes a slightly different noise right as it closes. I think this is the motor gearing down to get enough torque to close the door tight enough. I will have to listen closely to see if it sounds like a moan. Where is the noise coming from? Our noise if from the door motor.

This noise isn't from the motor. Sounds more like something rubbing. I need to get in the back seat and do some investigating. My wife drive the ODY and I forget about it until the next time I drive it. Of course, I'm the only one who hears it.

I've got an 06 too with 25K on it too and I've had probs with the doors from the start. Noise, not opening, not closing ... the whole shabang. What I've done is tell the dealer each and every time I've gone in. They can never find anything wrong so they clean and lube them and send me on my way but my service writer said that it should be written up no matter what so that if (and when) the motor(s) do fail and it's out of warranty I'll have shown a history of problems with them ahead of time.

In your case they prolly just need to be cleaned and lubed, tell the dealer next time you take it in.
