Let's see some pics of what we bought our O's for... We needed a dependable family hauler. After driving an MPV for three years with growing boys, we also needed lots more room. Throw in an annual trip from Maine to South Carolina every spring (thru the night I might add) and one might feel like we had covered every base with our new O. Last spring we added one more - TRUCK! Ok, sorta, trucklike maybe... Below area couple of pics showing what our O did for us 6 times last summer. Praise the Odyssey, it really can do just about everything! So come on people, let's see what you used your Odyssey for...

That camper has the exact same color scheme as ours, but ours is a 1998 Rockwood. We use the Ridgeline (we have a 2007 Odyssey and a 2007 ridgleine) to pull it, however. I was thinking about getting a hitch for the Odyssey to pull the boat out of the water and set up the camper, but didn't think pulling the boat out of the water would be good for the Odyssey since the boat weighs around 3,700 + pounds. We keep our boat and camper at the lake, and take it out of the storage area and set it up when we go down. All the towing there is half a mile or less at low speeds.

I plan on using the RidgeLine to tow the camper this year (we didn't have it last summer). Most of our trips were within two hours on a combination of roads. I was suprised at how well the Odyssey tows that camper. It never seemed to struggle with the weight or be hassled by crosswinds. BUT, I can't wait to tow the camper with my new "truck";) either!

0The Odyssey makes a great all-around tow vehicle, with lots of interior room (Since there are only two of us, we take out the 2nd row seats., a low profile (although some more ground clearance would be good to prevent front bumper damage from curbs, etc.), and good non-towing mileage. We get 24 mpg not towing and 14 towing.
