I just purchased an '03 LX. It came with power door locks, but no keyless entry. I purchased an IC Dynamics Model 6RTA Remote Keyless Entry System from J.C. Whitney hoping that I could install it myself. After reading the instructions, they all seem pretty straightforward except that I am a little confused as to the location of the master door lock switch. Is this the switch on the driver's side door or is it referring to a module under the dash? I can scan in the instructions and post them here if needed. Thanks for any help you can give - I was hoping this would be an easy installation, but fear I may have gotten in over my head.

Here are scans of the instruction sheet. I also reread them and figured out that the master door lock switch is referring to the switch in the driver's side door. I'm still a little confused though. In the 3rd attachment, I have circled the section that states "Switch wires marked with an arrow pointer require connection to 10 wire harness". Does this mean that they should only be attached to the 10 wire harness (marked #2 in the diagram) or should they also be attached to the wires going to the door lock relay module (marked #1 in the diagram)? Hopefully if I look at this long enough, I will figure it out, but I would appreciate any and all help. Thanks!

I've just bought an '03 LX and as the driver door cylinder is bunged up a bit, I was considering the same fix, rather than trying to switch the cylinder.
How did it go? Any problems since? Any recommendations?
