dear odyssey expert i need help
i have odyssey 2001, i am the 2nd owner ,now it reaches 136000 Km , i used the car for only 10000 Km since i bought it from the 1st owner.
the problem is that when the car is cold the gear shift from 1st to 2nd is very hard. once the car warm up (drive about 20 min the shift is much smoother) i changed the transmission oil last month using genuine ATF Z1 from the dealer, after change i noticed some improvment but it deteriorate after 2-3 days.
is it transmission end? is it solenoid probem or dirs? is it torque converter problem ? please advise me .
thank you with my appreciation.

Don't know if it will solve the problem or not but Honda advises doing 3 drain and fills (drive it around inbetween) to try to change out as much fluid as possible.

Honda shows a drain and fill as around 3.1 qts and the full capacity of the transmission is 7.6 qts.

Check for failed engine mounts too...

I had both the front and side motor mounts replaced back in May and now my transmission is showing early signs of failure. Go figure. The broken motor mounts were causing clunking when going from park to reverse or reverse to drive. After the repair, clunking was gone. Now six months later, I'm getting clunking mainly from drive to reverse unless I wait a few seconds. I also noticed slipping on hills.

I only have 62K on my '99 Ody.
