: Big dilemma- Odyssey or Ridgeline?

I have a 2006 Ridgeline RTL that I love. (I'm also an ROC member) But, I'm starting a new business, and I have to have a white service vehicle. My Ridge is silver:( , so I have to part with it. Now I need to decide which new vehicle to buy- another Ridgeline (and buy a cap/canopy/topper for it) or make the switch to an Odyssey. I will need to haul around some valuable equipment, and since I'm also a woodworker, an occasional trip to the lumberyard is also a standard event.
Any input?

I'm sure you realize that there are several things to consider.

Is this also going to be your personal vehicle? There is a lot of space in an Ody when the rear seat is down and the middle row seats are out,,,but the middle row seats are not easy to remove and re-install.

For a service vehicle, have you considered something like a Dodge Sprinter???

I dunno if I'd want to put either, being such nice vehicles, throught the rigors of service life! You can buy a 2008 Dodge Caravan that's setup as a service vehicle right out of the box. Plus you'll get a lifetime P-train warranty with it.

You may get a lifetime p-train, but all that is, is your trans and enigine. What about the rest of the van. It will fall apart in 2 years. And the ody looks 20 times better.

The Ody is a better looking van, but the new Chryslers are maybe third best looking IMO; 1=Ody, 2=Sienna, 3= Chrysler. Yeah, things like ABS, HVAC, P-windows, locks, etc, aren't "lifetime" items for Chrysler, but I bet there's thousands of Ody owners who would like a lifetime warranty for their engine/transmissions! Last I knew Chrysler was the #1 selling MV (always was), so obviously people do like them.

Chrysler and Dogde is also one of the cheaper mv. They do have a few trim levals that are a little more money but the base trim leval around my area for an Ody is 25 grand, a chrysler around here I think is 17 grand. So it is a little cheaper. The Ody isn't that cheap. I see the Ody the same or little more than I see the Chrysler and Dodge. The local Dodge dealer around here still have 7 2007 Dodge and Chrysler mv. Honda dealer around here got rid of all the 2007 odys before 2008 rolled around.

Ell, Actually, When We Did The Reasearch For Buying A Minivan, Honda And Toyota Vans Were The Top Rated, Hence The Reason Why We Own An Odyssey And Would Not Trade It For Any Chrysler/dodge Van. The Chrysler Van Has Had Tranny Issues For A Very Long Time. I Guess Some People Have Had Issues With Their Honda Vans, But We Are Very Pleased With Ours. You Definitely Would Not Regret It If You Had An Odyssey!!
